My husband has had a mini stroke and it affects the pain management in his brain.
He hurt his arm other day and feels the pain in his ribs.
It sounds silly but thats whats happening. After a mini stroke can pain be redirected to somewhere else on your body?It is possible. I had a stroke before at the age of 24. It was a blood clot on the brain. After a stroke your whole body is off. I didn't experience those symptoms but I did experience the pain. A stroke is very painful and his whole body may very well be off. It will take time for everything to come back in order. His neurologist should be able to see if there are any major side effects of his stroke. The neurologist will look at the MRI to determine if there is any blockage in the brain. The main thing is for him to stay comfortable and stress free until he gets well again. If you had one stroke you are likely to have another. Good Luck!!
