mini: It's a first gen. mini. I charge it for four hours until it is full. Then I take it off to connect it to the computer thinking it is charged and the charging icon starts up again! I don't want to disconnect it halfway through the charging period as I hear that ruins the battery. But then it takes ANOTHER four hours to charge fully when I haven't listened to it at all! Also, when it's finally charged it lasts approx. one hour. Sometimes less. Is it just me or is this pathetic?My iPod mini battery has gone from the sublime to the ridiculous?That's because the battery is on it's last days. Rechargeable batteries degrade as the time passes. If you use it more, the battery will degrade faster. What I would recommend you is to buy a new battery for it.
