I am trying to record some old records into a digital format. I have a non-Intel mac mini and a turntable that has a Toslink s/pdif digital output. Do I have to purchase something that connects the output of the turntable to the USB port on the mac? Or does the Mac 1/8 jack support a digital input, and all I need is a cable? Any help at all would be appreciated.
