mini: I'm getting ready to buy a mini laptop next month and want to know the benefits of having a mini and the problems that come with buying a mini laptop.What are the pros and cons of purchasing a mini laptop?Benefits: -Ultraportable (Weighs less, takes up less space) -Long battery life -Internet Capable -Faster data transfer (Due to Solid State Drive) -Has ports for USB and such -More durable (Less moving parts than a regular laptop) -Lower cost Drawbacks: -Weaker CPU and GPU; less RAM (that's why it lasts longer on battery) -Limited functions (can't really play intensive games or use demanding programs, for example) -Smaller Screen size -Smaller keyboard & touchpad -Less HardDrive space (you can hold as many files) -Doesn't always have the Operating System you want (sometimes runs Linux) -Doesn't have an Optical Drive (DVD/CD drive is separate)What are the pros and cons of purchasing a mini laptop?i have the acer aspire one and i love it its small so it will fit in most places easy to carry good wireless and generally run up to 3 or more hours on a full battery how ever there are the not so good facts to them hard to type on the tiny keyboard and there is no internal disk drive so you would have to network one from another computer or buy an external disk drive
