Are they good house pets to have or not?Are Mini Schnauzers good pets to have around the house?Well if you want a small manly dog get a mini Schnauzer 15lbs. The other thing I do that helps me with my allergies. Is I give my Schnauzer a bath once a week. As long as you use good dog shampoo with the right PH their skin won't dry out. But my dog is outside alot, and after taking him to the dog park. He has alot dog sliver and dog dander on him. Also make sure that you want a small dog. Because a Standard Schnauzer is only 30-40lbs, and now you have formidable guard dog. Both the Mini and Standard have the same behaviors. I love him so much!!!! They make great gaurd dogs just incase of unwanted people, they are loving, cute and really funny :). Be sure to spay or nuter him or her.
