If a recipe says 'mini marshmallows', will using standard marshmallows work?What is the difference between mini marshmallows and normal marshmallows?If you are melting the marshmallows, you can substitute with no problem. If you are just stirring marshmallows into your recipe, you would probaly want to cut the regular marshmallow into smaller pieces for presentation.

7 oz Marshmallow Creme = approximately 1-1/2 cups

13 oz Marshmallow Creme = approximately 3 cups


1 Regular Marshmallow = 13 Miniature Marshmallows

8 Regular Marshmallows = 1 cup

16 oz bag Miniature = 8 cups

10.5 oz bag Miniature = 5-1/2 cups

50 Miniature Marshmallows = 1/2 cup Miniature Marshmallows

64 Regular Marshmallows = 16 oz bag|||Yeah, but you need to know the size difference between the mini ones and the regular marshmallows so you can put the correct amount of marshmallow into the recipe.
