I have mini donkeys that I just purchased. They seem to love apples . I want to make sure that is a ok treat for them. I assume since in the horse family that they are fine for them. It is so cute to watch them enjoy a apple.Can Mini Donkeys eat a apple a day and be ok?Yes, but cut it in half or even qquarters first. I do know of one which choked on an uncut one. I have recently read the same for horses. My donkey likes apples too. I've had my mini since 95. The biggest thing to watch with them is grass founder. Limit their intake and do NOT let them get overweight.
