I know that in the majority of cars, doing this sort of conversion would be extremely expensive as well as difficult, for many reasons. But Classic Mini's are fairly basic; the instruments are in the center of the dashboard, and they were manufactured in a way that made them easy to produce and ship to places all over the world. One source I found indicated it could be done for 500 dollars. Is this correct, or would it the cost, both financially, and time wise (as well as difficulty) be much different? How difficult and how much would it cost to convert a Classic Mini from Britain to left-hand drive.?Please do not do that,
I collect british cars and would never, ever, bastardize a classic car like you are suggesting.
It is perfectly legal to drive in the existing configuration.
You will also drastically devalue the car if you do this.
Please reconsider.

Hi TRV dude: i tried to reply to your email but it keeps bouncing back.
Thanks for the clarification
If you want to go ahead with this project then yes, your estimate is quite corect.
The biggest hassle is changing all the pedals over to the other side and filling in all the holes on what is now the passenger side.
You also need to change the steering rack.
