There is no fluid its 6 months old, and its a mini clubman s any help would be apreciated. The coolant has been topped up but makes no differance .Why is my 6 month mini clubman hissing from the grill when i turn the engine off after 40 mins driving?it's probably just releasing excess pressure from the radiator cap because as you should know the temperature in the radiator rises when you shut off the engine. and as the temp rises the pressure also rises. so as long as you are not loosing any coolant i wouldn't worry about it. because the spring on the radiator cap is set to a preset pressure and anything higher than that preset pressure will force the cap open releasing the excess pressure!Why is my 6 month mini clubman hissing from the grill when i turn the engine off after 40 mins driving?water pump not working
