mini: Just got a new screened in porch and we placed an old mini-fridge out there for easy access to cold sodas and beers. However, with it being so hot outside it is sweating and leaving large amounts of water on the deck. How can I keep my fridge out there without ruining my deck? ( with the amount of water I think it is beyond just using a water sealer on the deck)How to take care of mini-fridge sweating on deck?It sounds like it's acting as a huge dehumidifier. You may have to stand it a large tray of some sort with a drain hole that channels the water away from the deck. You'll find most panel shops, plumbers or light engineering workshop would probably make you one if you gave them the measurements. Sides of the tray would only need to be one to one and half inches high with a piece of tube out of one of the sides, or if possible, out the bottom to attach a plastic hose to drain the water away.
