The only thing I can add to it is to tell you to put your hot dog pieces in the freezer before putting them in the crescent rolls to bake. The reason for this is, if you use refrigerated hot dogs, they will shrivel before the roll is browned - the roll generally cooks at 400潞 for about 10 minutes if I remember correctly. If the hot dog is frozen, it will be nice and plump inside that roll.|||i make those all the time! i call them pigs in a blanket, though i use the normal sized hotdogs. what you do is cut a slit in the hot dog (don't cut all the way through the hot dog though) and put a small slice of cheese in the slit (cut up a slice of american cheese into about 3/4 inch strips). put the hotdogs aside. then open the cresent rolls. unfold them all or unwind them or whatever you have to do and roll the hotdogs w/ cheese into them. If you cut up the hot dogs to make mini dogs, then cut up the dough to fit. Arrange on a cookie sheet and bake them until golden brown at the temperature shown on the wrapper for the crescent rolls. Regards, Dan|||Pigs in a blanket is what it is called cut the hot dogs wrap cheese around them && put the crescent around it on all of them then you put it in the oven|||Cut the hot dogs into 4 pieces, get some american cheese and then roll them into the crescent rolls, which you also have to cut smaller, usually 1/2 or 3'ds depending on size.
