is their a difference between the mini dv and mini dvc tapes. some brands say dv and others say dvc. is there a difference.? my camera came with a maxwell dv tape.I have a question about the mini dv tapes for my video camera?they are the same. DVC stands for digital video cassette. You may not be aware, but there are other size cassettes for digital video than miniDV. DV is a trademark term, so any tape that is marked DV is what you want.
